Educational
Programs
LexiCode provides education programs for coders, physician office
staff, and others involved in the coding process. Each program is
customized to your needs. Programs are available for the beginner,
intermediate, or advanced coder and can cover ICD-9-CM, CPT/HCPCS,
APR-DRGs, DRGs, APCs, Physician based coding (Evaluation and Management),
and other agendas.
Concurrent
Review & Feedback has been one of our most successful coding education
programs to provide baseline feedback and education in a cost effective
manner. This approach involves assigning an onsite manager for a
specified time period to provide one-on-one review and feedback,
group educational sessions and mutually agreed upon reporting to
management. Upon achievement of the initial objectives, periodic
follow-up visits occur to measure success and provide further updates.
Physician
Documentation Education
Involve providers through identification of documentation opportunities
and educational presentations. Thorough and clear documentation
is a critical component of appropriate code assignment. It affects
coding quality and accuracy as well as appropriate reimbursement
for the institution and the individual physicians. Our education
program components can be implemented together as a complete program,
or as individual initiatives that address specifically identified
objectives.
Types
of Education Programs Available:
- MS-DRG/APR-DRG
