Coding Compliance Consultant - Auditor

M-F Travel, many home base locations possible

Join the LexiCode Consulting Team!  If you are an experienced HIM professional with an RHIA, RHIT or CCS credential plus experience in coding and management, this position may be for you. Requires proficiency assigning ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes, and the ability to travel M-F weekly to client sites.

Responsibilities include:  

• Evaluate and/or assign ICD-9-CM, CPT, HCPCS and E&M codes and coding processes for LexiCode clients.
• Develop accompanying recommendations, corrective action and implementation plans
• Travel to client sites to work independently
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients
• Respond to client inquiries and promote LexiCode to clients
• Demonstrate senior level skills, knowledge and professionalism
• Guide and mentor employees
