CODING MANAGER

Local position at Outsource client site

LexiCode is looking for a dynamic Coding Manager to work for us onsite at our hospital client located in Florence, SC.

This position requires an experienced HIM professional with an RHIA or RHIT or RN, CCS credential plus appropriate experience in coding and management. The position also requires proficiency assigning ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes.

Responsibilities include:

• Management of Outsource coding department:
  • coding quality assurance
  • mentoring and employee development,
  • overall compliance with client and company policy and procedures;
• maintaining senior level skills and knowledge in management, coding and professionalism;
• participating in Client reporting and department meetings;
• handling client, coding and consultant issues as needed.
